Doreen Orr of Abbotsford, BC passed peacefully into the arms of her Lord on October 30, 2019. Born in Winkler, Manitoba, Doreen was predeceased by her beloved husband, Gordon in 2000 and is survived by her children; Douglas (Lori Brody), Bob (Linda Findlay), Tracey (David Daluiso), and Steven (Nadine); grandchildren; Clayton, Rachel, Ashley, Jesse, Jakota, Shaydon, Jordon (Aidan Wanamaker), McKenzie, Annabel, Mason, Alex, and Mathew; and three great grandchildren.
Doreen spent her life in healthcare as a registered nurse and was site-leader at MSA Hospital and Abbotsford Regional Hospital until after her 70th birthday. In addition to being a skilled nursing supervisor, she was a devoted wife, loving mother and sister, and a loyal friend. She will be deeply missed and her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Heaven welcomed a beautiful soul. Rest in peace, Mom. We will love and miss you always.
A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, November 23 at 1:30 pm at New Testament Baptist Church, 5525 Gladwin Road, Abbotsford.
