Don was born March 19, 1934 in Chilliwack, B.C. and passed away May 6, 2007 in Mission, B.C. where he had resided for the last 29 years.
Don is survived by Marg, his wife of 52 years; 3 children: Shirley (Brian) Sullivan, Myrna (Don) Reason, Doug (Cassandra) Kerridge; 4 grandchildren: Colby (Tasha), Jen, Nathan and Graham; and 4 great grandchildren: Brayden, Emmalee, Andrew and Masen, also sister: Rosemary (Isadore) Woods; brother: David (Lorraine) Kerridge and many nieces and nephews.
An active member of the Canadian Coast Guard Auxiliary, Don is well known for his many hours devoted to helping the boating public.
A celebration of Don's life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Mission, B.C. on Saturday, May 12 at 11:00 a.m. followed by interment at Hatzic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made in Don's memory, to the Mission Hospice Society, 7324 Hurd Street, Mission, B.C. V2V 3H5
Heartfelt thanks to the doctors, nurses, staff and volunteers at Christine Morrison Hospice, Mission, where Don spent his last weeks.
