David John (Jack) passed away peacefully in Abbotsford, B.C. on December 30, 2003. Jack leaves with cherished memories his 6 children; Marion and Brian Priest, Matt, Nyree and Derek Priest, Jennifer, John and Vienna Kapty; Bob, Cindy and Stacey McKitrick; Deb, Gerry, Kim and Kelly Hunt; Dan Michelle, Maddison, Kaitlin and Jacob McKitrick; Donna, Tom, Andrea and Michael Smillie; and Gord, Christa, Tyler and Connor McKitrick.
Jack was speical to many nieces and nephews as well as many friends, business associates and the staff and resident at hallmark Assisted Living.
Jack was born on June 28, 1922, in Crystal City, Manitboa. He was a veteran of the R.C.A.F. and served overseas during WW11. Following his service, he spent several decades in the roofing industry. Jack was predeceased by his wife Peggy, brothers Gord and Kelly and sister Jean.
Memorial service to be held at Hallmark Assisted Living, 3055 Princess St., Abbotsford, Saturday, January 10, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, "Hug someone you love today".
