David L,, late of Abbotsford, BC, passed peacefully into the presence of the Lord on Aug. 2, 2006 at MSA Hospital at age 79 years. David was born in Morris, MB, and came to Abbotsford on his retirement in 1992. He was predeceased by his first wife Betty Friesen and four brothers. David is survived by his loving wife, of 52 years, Betty; sons Les, Eldon, Ryan (Angela) and Don and grandchildren Brad, Michelle and Kaitlyn. Also survived by daughter-in-law Aline Friesen.
A time of visitation will take place on Tues., Aug. 8 from 7:00 - 9:00 pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Wed., Aug. 9 at 11:00 am at Maclure Rd. Cemetery, followed by a memorial service at 2:00 pm at Northview Community Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Gideons if so desired.
