Passed away peacefully April 28, 2009 at the age of 70 years. Born April 21, 1939 in Scotland, he came to Canada in 1977. He will be remembered by his son and daughter-in-law, Simon and Jane; 3 grandchildren, Samantha, Emma and Gillian; his brother George (Ginette) as well as many family and friends who will miss him. He was predeceased by Pat, his wife of 30 years and his older brother Oliver. David had a fulfilling life, beginning by serving in the Scots Guard and later in life working at the Abbotsford Police Station for many years. There will be a service to celebrate his life Monday, May 11 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Matthew's Church, 2010 Guilford Drive, Abbotsford.
