Cornelia (Corrie) Anna Martina

Corrie passed away on October 25, 2008 at Abbotsford Regional Hospital at the age of 71 years. She was predeceased by her first husband Jan and son Jerome Van de Kamp.
Corrie is survived by her loving husband Richard (Dick) Ainsworth of Mission, BC; daughter Marie Schulz of Keremeos, BC; grandsons Justin Schulz, wife Tessa, and Robert Schulz, both of Surrey, BC and Marshall Van de Kamp of Point Roberts, WA; granddaughter Corrine Kilford, husband Joe, of Lumby, BC. She has three great-grandchildren, Madison Kilford, Locklan Kilford and Elizabeth Schulz. Corrie has one sister, Theodora (Door) Hoek of Calonsoog, Netherlands.
Corrie worked with mentally challenged people and volunteered for many years with the Mission and District Association for the Mentally Retarded, now known as the Mission and District Association of Community Living. The highlight of her week was her Friday night visits with her many friends at the Mission branch of the Royal Canadian Legion. She will be sadly missed. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Woodlawn Mission Funeral Home, 7386 Horne St., Mission, BC
