Charles William Houlden peacefully passed away on January 18, 2005 at the age of 89 at Chilliwack General Hospital. He was born on May 24, 1915 in Boissevain, Manitoba.
He was predeceased by his wife Marion Houlden (2003), sons Clair (1978) and Michael (1991), sister Frances Arbuckle and brother Jack Houlden.
He is survived by his children; son Randy (Donna), daughter Marnie (Phil) Anderson, grandchildren Darryl (Kris), Lori, Marcy; Christopher, Andrew; Carrie, Carla (Nate), Kyle; Sheena, and Tasha; great-grandchildren Aleesha, Aimee; Jason, Sara, Bradley, Corey; and Olivia. He will also be missed by his sisters Dorothy Houlden and Lena Cooper, sister-in-law Doreen and Charlie King, brother-in-law Lawrence Nankivell and many nieces and nephews.
Charlie will be remembered for his sense of humour and his deep love for his wife, children and grandchildren.
A private family service was held with burial at Hazelwood Cemetery, Abbotsford.
