GEROW, Charles Lindsay
Charlie passed away peacefully at Ebenezer Home on his birthday, Sunday, October 26, 2008 at the age of 87 years. Charlie was predeceased by his first wife Elsie (Jamieson), second wife Connie (Hatchey); son Norman; grandson Kenny. He is survived by his beloved wife Hideko "Ruth" (Kanai); daughters Barbara (Bob), Darlene (Ben); son Roy; daughter in law Susan; 10 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 4 step children; 10 step-grandchildren, 5 step-great grandchildren and numerous extended family members.
Born in Souris, MB., Charlie spent his adult life working as owner of Parker Cedar Products in Port Kells. He retired in 1987 and spent his remaining years living in Abbotsford.
A Celebration of Charlie's life took place on Wednesday, October 29, 2008, at Valley View Funeral Chapel, 14660 72nd Ave., Surrey, with Robert Steeves, Celebrant. A private family burial was held on Friday October 31. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of one's choice would be appreciated by the family.
