CHARLES JOHNSON

Charles "Chuck" Johnson passed away peacefully on January 27, 2004 at the age of 80 at MSA Hospital. He was born on February 26, 1923 in Neilberg, Saskatchewan.


He will be deeply missed by his loving wife Margaret, of 58 years, dear children, son Ken (Denise) of Surrey, daughter Linda (Hap) Heppner of Chilliwack, son Dan (Jocelyn) of New Westminster, daughter Bonnie-Jean (Vern) Goosney of Abbotsford, his 4 grandchildren, Colin, Jeff, Nicole and Corey, his twin sister, Dorothy Binnie of Surrey and sister Kay (Clarence) Armatage of Nanaimo, brother-in-law George "Pud" Ward of Nanaimo and many nieces and nephews.


He was predeceased by his parents, his younger sister Ellie Ward and brother-in-law Gord Binnie.


Chuck served as a stoker in the Royal Canadian Navy for 7 years and worked for over 23 years as a Correctional Officer for the Federal Government. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed travelling with Margaret in their RV. During the winter months, Chuck spent his time working on his woodworking projects in his shop.


No service by his request.
