Charlie passed peacefully at Mission Memorial Hospital. He will be remembered for his kindness, welcoming smile, and witty sayings.
Charlie was a devoted husband to Elsie, who predeceased him in 2009. He was also predeceased by his father and mother, John, and Bertha Scott.
He will be dearly missed by his four children, Brenda Scott, Norma Harvey, Jack Scott, Charlene Harvey, and their families, as well as his two sisters, Pauline (Charlie) Hughes, and Ethel Michaloski. He was a wonderful Grandpa to his 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
He worked at BC Hydro for 36 years, was an avid gardener and friend to everyone he met. He enjoyed curling, hunting, and fishing with his son.
His last 9 years were spent with the wonderful people at Cedarbrooke Chateau.
A private Graveside Service will be held at a later date. Thank you to all those who entered his life, he was truly blessed. Thank you to the staff at ARH, MMH, the doctors and nurses who cared for Dad in his last days.
