Now at peace. Kitty passed the evening of September 30th at Valhaven Home, Abbotsford BC.
Born in the family home in Ballinasloe, County Galway, Ireland she became a nurse there and subsequently worked in Ireland and England as a District Midwife, then on to Canada in various positions in Ontario, Northern Manitoba, North West Territories and finally in B.C.
She was an avid cyclist and walker - with her dogs, had a tremendous wit and loved singing and dancing with her grandchildren.
She is survived by husband Val, sons Mark [Brenda], Jason [Kelly], Andrew, Nathan [Brian], grandchildren Kiara, Sinead, Duncan, Kyle, Clare and Forde, brother Tom, Tamara and also part of our family, Julie and Kerry. Kitty was predeceased by parents Andrew and Bridget, brother Addy and sister Nuala.
Family and friends thank the staff of Valhaven Home for their compassionate, loving care provided to Kitty.
