1941-2021 ~ Carol Ann Myers, formerly Carol Ann Bartsch (nee Holmquist) passed away peacefully on August 25, 2021 at The Residence In Mission. She was 80 years old.
She was predeceased by her first husband Walter and second husband Jay, as well as her parents Anton and Hilda and sister Dorothy.
She is survived by her only child Sonya (children Nicholas (Nicole), Victoria and Alexander) as well as her children by marriage Debbie (children Trevor and Nathan), Brenda and Darell (Leah) (children Hailley, Todd, Mylee and Vanessa).
She is also survived by her brother Gerald and sister Sharon, as well as the Bartsch, Holmquist, Westhoff, Hills and Myers families. Mom was a beloved part of a very large blended extended family.
Many thanks to Dr. Peter Barnsdale and the entire staff of the Cherry neighbourhood for taking such excellent and attentive care of Mom.
It was Mom's wish to be cremated and her ashes will be interred at Lakeside in Clearbrook Washington. All arrangements have been entrusted to Woodlawn Funeral Home in Abbotsford.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Donations to B.C. Children's Hospital in Mom's name would be appreciated.
