Saturday at the end of a fruitful life Carl, with characteristic humour and dignity fought the final battle. Britten went on permanent leave this Remembrance Day, 2006 at 13:40 hours, at Chilliwack Hospital. He died peacefully in the company of family members.
The family wishes to thank the public health nurses, the Fraser Cheam home support workers in Agassiz, the doctors and nursing staff at the fourth floor surgical unit at Chilliwack Hospital and his family doctor - Dr. Sean Larsen.
A Celebration of His Life will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2006, 2:00 pm at Woodlawn Mt. Cheam Funeral Home, 45865 Hocking Avenue, Chilliwack.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Covenant House, the Food Bank or a charity of your choice.
