1937 - 2017
Burl (born March 9, 1937) passed away at home April 20, 2017 in Abbotsford,
finally giving up his struggle at the age of 80 years. He recently celebrated his 60th wedding anniversary to his much beloved wife Sonja. Survived by his sons Sheldon (Debbie), Bradley (Audrey) and Lorne (Lee), and his daughter, Gaye (Don). Also survived by his brother Melvin and sisters Muriel, Louise (Hans) and Cassie. Grandchildren Jason, Amanda & Samantha and their mother Kerry and grandchildren Walter, Crystal & Daniel. Great-grandchildren and extended family. Predeceased by his son Martin, brother Walter and sister Bernice.
No Services are to be held at this time, but a celebration of life may be held later in the summer. He will be cremated as per his wishes with no tears to be shed for a life well lived and enjoyed with plenty of music and memories with family and friends over the years.
