ROSS

It is with great sadness and regret to announce that Brian Raymond Ross passed away on Labour Day. Born April 4, 1949 in Abbotsford, BC to Walter and Fae Ross, he is survived by his wife Linda; his kids and their families: Patrick Ross (Kris and Caila), Robin Ross (Donna, Ella and Sophia) and daughter Shannon Lightfoot (Eric, Marley and Kobe). Brian also left behind his mother Fae Ross, his twin brother Barry (Bev), sister Brenda Petty, brother Brad (Rhonda), Diane Grey and Gloria (Barry) Murley. He is predeceased by his father Walter Ross in 2003.

Brian was an exceptional husband, father, grandfather, friend and barber. He will be remembered by his honesty, unique sense of humor, his candor and his wit. He will be missed every day.

"To Have Lived Well"

To have lived well, laughed often and loved much; to have gained the respect of intelligent men and the love of children; to have filled a niche and accomplished a task; to have left the world better, whether by an improved poppy, a perfect poem or a rescued soul; to have appreciated earth's beauty and not failed to express it; to have looked for the best in others, and to have given the best of yourself. That is Achievement!

from Robert Louis Stevenson's "Achievement"

Memorial will be held on Sunday, Sept. 9 from 1-4 pm at The Rancho, 35110 Delair Rd., Abbotsford. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.

Special thanks to Lisa and the staff at both MSA and Royal Columbian, particularly Dr. Hayden.
