GILL, Boota Singh
Boota Singh Gill of Abbotsford passed away in his sleep on May 23rd in his home at the age of 52. Predeceased by his father, he leaves behind his Mother, his wife Balwinder, his sons Manj, Paul, Mike and Raj, his 2 brothers Harcharan (Sharanjit) and Mewa (Sukhbinder), 4 sisters Gurinder (Baljit) Brar, Mohinder (Charanjit) Brar, Shinder (Iqbal) Mann and Balbinder (Charanjit) Johal and many nephews and nieces.
Boota was a prominent member of the community and will be missed and fondly remembered by everyone whose life he touched. He displayed genuine concern for all who approached him for advice, and loved to make people laugh. His funeral will take place on Saturday, May 29, at the Clark Theatre, 33700 Prentis Avenue, Mission at 11:00am. The Bhog ceremony will be held at 2:00pm at the Khalsa Diwan Society Gurdwara on South Fraser Way.
