Betty passed away quietly and peacefully at the age of 92 in Worthington Pavilion in Abbotsford, B.C. on November 18, 2018.
She leaves her loving family to mourn her loss while celebrating her life: son Ralph (Lalani) and daughter Joan (Chris), grandchildren Josh (Gina) and Niki and great-grandchildren: Alaia, Easton, Quinn and Piper.
Predeceased by her first husband Dirk Vanderheide in 1989 and second husband Paul Sorensen in 2012, her son John passed away in 2004 and her grandson Derek in 2012.
She is missed and loved by all.
A private memorial will be held for her in the Spring. Donations in her name may be made to Bethesda Christian Association in Abbotsford.
