Mrs. Bernice Boldt (nee Thiessen)
Mrs. Bernice Boldt was born to John T. and Elizabeth (Goertzen) Thiessen on June 21, 1914 in the village of Dalmeny, Saskatchewan.
Bernice and Abe Boldt were married in September 1938 and together loved the Lord Jesus and served Him.
They moved from their farm in Dalmeny to Clearbrook in 1979 and later in 1989 to a condo on Gladwin Rd.
In May of 2003 Bernice moved to a nursing home in Edmonton. She was admitted to the hospital with a minor heart attack on April 5, 2011 and on April 9, at the age of 96 years 10 months quietly slipped into eternity with her Lord. She is predeceased by her husband Abe, a son George and her foster daughter Vickie.
Those that will miss her are her 3 sons, Orlando (Marlene), Harvey ( Selma), Walter (Joy), 11 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. Also, many nieces and nephews and friends will always remember her.
The Memorial Service will be held at Grace Evangelical Bible Church, 2087 McMillan Rd., Abbotsford at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted for Faith and Love Children's Ministry (Orphanage in Haiti).
