February 1, 1936 - November 22, 2018
With broken hearts, the loving family of Benjamin Douglas (Doug) Firth sadly announce his peaceful passing on November 22, 2018, at 82 years, at Worthington Pavilion in Abbotsford, BC.

Doug was born February 1, 1936 in Burnaby, BC to Benjamin (Ben) and Eleanor Marie (Marie) Firth, the eldest of three sons. He was predeceased by his father Ben in 1979, mother Marie in 2016, ex-wife Donna in 2015, and great grandson Aaiden in 2011. He leaves to deeply grieve his passing, his loving wife Brenda, three children; Mike, Pat (Angie), Cathy, foster son Gilbert (Shelly), stepchildren; Mike, Patsy (Eric), Sharon (Tom), Bill, Laurie (Eddie), Kevin, Michael (Debbie), Barry, Tim, Toni (Dave); twenty-three grandchildren, and twenty-one great- grandchildren.

Doug's family can't begin to express their gratitude for the wonderful care and love that surrounded him at Worthington, and share the immense admiration and respect that he had for Dr. Sarah Pawlovich.

Please join us as we celebrate Doug and his incredible life, February 10, 2019 from 11 am to 3 pm at the Rendezvous Restaurant at 9360 Young Rd. N., Chilliwack, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the SPCA or the BC Lung Association in memory of Douglas B. Firth.
