Autumn Joy JENKINSON

Autumn Joy passed away on May 13, 2007 after being involved in a traffic accident. Autumn will be greatly missed by her ­parents Paul and Lydia Jenkinson (Pankratz), brother Dylan, sister Bernadette and daughter Djambe. Autumn is also survived by her grandmother Lena Pankratz, her grandfather Gerald Jenkinson, extended ­family and a great number of friends.

Autumn was born in Abbotsford, attended Abbotsford Senior, graduated with her social work degree from UCFV and was studying for her Masters at UBC. Autumn Joy was a dedicated and loving mom, was a board member of the BC Association of Social Workers, on the board of the Canadian Association of Schools of Social Work and was a dedicated social activist. She will be missed by her colleagues at Ministry for Children and Family Development and the many children, youth and families who were her clients and friends.

Visitation for family and friends will be held Friday, May 18,

7- 8 pm at Emmanuel Mennonite Church, 3471 Clearbrook Road. A graveside service will be held, Saturday, May 19 at 11:00 am at Maclure Road Mennonite Cemetery, with a memorial service to follow, 1:00 pm, Emmanuel Mennonite Church, Abbotsford.

In lieu of flowers the family has arranged a Trust Fund, for Autumn Joy’s daughter Djambe, at the Abbotsford Village branch of Envision Credit Union. Account number 6744726.
