August (Joe) Reedel passed away on Tuesday, October 26, 2004 at Lower Nicola, BC at the age of 85 years.
August was predeceased by his wife Mary Josephine Reedel (nee Liberty) in 1984; son Gerald Larry Reedel in 1970; grandson Dennis Leigh Jones in 1996, grandson Ronald Leigh Reedel in 2001. He will be lovingly remembered by his son William Reedel (Linda) of Abbotsford; daughters Marlene Veldhius (Bob) of Chilliwack, Lorraine Gerbrandt (Johnny) of Mission, Teresa Dalla Vecchia (Aldo) of Lower Nicola and Cindy Reedel (Joel) of Chilliwack; 15 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2004 at 11:00 am at Woodlawn Mission Funeral Home, 7386 Horne Street, Mission, BC. Interment to follow at Hatzic Cemetery.
If desired, donations in Joe’s memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Kidney Foundation.
