Mrs. Audrey Elenor Fitz went to be with Jesus on January 18, 2004 at the age of 75. She is survived by her children, Marilyn (Cliff) Newbury, Allan (Karen) Fitz, Linda (Tom) Rathjen, Rondalyn Fitz, and Mark (Katherine) Fitz, eleven grandchildren, her sisters, Betty and Shirley and a host of nieces and nephews. Audrey was predeceased by her father, mother, two brothers and her husband, Stan.
Viewing will be at Henderson's Funeral Home in Abbotsford (34537 Marshall Road) on Friday, January 23 from 8:00 - 9:00 p.m. An alternate viewing will also be held at Henderson's on Saturday morning from 9:30 - 10:30. Interment will take place on Saturday, January 24 at Langley Lawn Cemetery (4393 - 208 Street) at 11:30 a.m. A memorial service will follow at Christian Life Assembly in Langley (21277 - 56 Avenue) at 1:30 p.m.
Donations can be made toward a scholarship fund for Bible School students in Russia. Though limited by health issues in the last months, Audrey lived each day to the full. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Audrey and Stan's legacy will continue through the many who were impacted by their lives.
