BRAUN, Arthur Robert
April 26, 1950 – Oct. 17, 2009.
Our brother passed away suddenly on October 17, 2009. Art was born in Mission, the third child of seven, to John and Betty Braun. He spent most of his life in the valley. His greatest pleasure was a ride on his motorcycle with friends. He liked a good talk, a good meal, and watching car races. We’ll miss his entertaining dinner conversations.
He will be sadly missed by his two brothers and three sisters, Dave in Penticton, Doug in Ontario, Karen in Langley, Ruby in Victoria, and AnneLise in Chilliwack, his adopted family, Wayne and Maureen McPherson in Abbotsford, much extended family and many friends. He was predeceased by his brother Ken in 1989, his mother in 1995 and his father in 2002.
A tribute to his life will be held at the Shake & Shingle Pub, 9610-287th Street, Maple Ridge on October 24, 2009 from 2:00-5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to your local food bank.
