Arnold J. H. born June 24, 1927 in Amsterdam, passed away peacefully on Jan 20, 2006. Â Predeceased by his parents, Arnolda and Johannes and sister Agnes, he is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Henrietta, his children John (Brenda), Jeanette (Gerald), Barb (Mark), Rick, nine grandchildren, brothers Frans and Nardus and many other relatives and friends. Â He was a dedicated 35 year employee of Sealy Canada and a devoted family man. Â Arnold touched many lives with his enduring spirit, humour and zest for life. Â Gracious to the end, his memory will live with us forever. Â Our thanks to the nurses and staff at the Langley Hospice for their compassionate care. Â A memorial service will be held at Henderson’s Abbotsford Funeral Home, 34537 Marshall Rd. on Friday, Jan 27, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. Â In lieu of flower donations may be made to the Langley Hospice or Cancer Society.
