Anthony Ian Douglas (Tish) McNally died on Sunday afternoon, December 12, 2004, at the Abbotsford Hospital surrounded by his family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, his sister Bernice, and his brother Mort, as well as his loving wife Mary Burns McNally. He is survived by his sons, Thomas, Gerarde (Helen) and James (Barbara Diggins) McArthur and his daughter, Theresa Mulligan; his older brother, Ronald McNally, and his dear friend, Ellen Dennis; by his grandchildren Gerarde, Michael, and Anthony McArthur; Jennifer and Christine McArthur; Kelly and Hamish McArthur; and Anthony Cole; 12 McArthur great-grandchildren; and many nephews and nieces.
Dad suffered from the complications of heart disease for 25 years, a challenge he met with humour and vigour. We all admired his ability to enjoy life despite pain. In the end, he succumbed to this disease. We regret losing him, but will treasure the memory of his dear presence in our hearts.
Please join us at the Prayer Service on Sunday, December 19, in St. Anne’s Parish Church, 33333 Mayfair Avenue, Abbotsford at 7 pm and at the Mass of Christian Burial also in St. Anne’s Church, Abbotsford on Monday, December 20, at 11 am. The interment will be followed by a reception on the Church premises.
