Annie Doris Schultz, in her 98th year, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Feb. 13, 2009 at the Valhaven Nursing Home. Leaving to mourn her passing are Marlene (Harry) Schmidt, Mildred (Harvey) Itterman, Audrey (Aaron) Falkenberg, Sheldon (Beryl) Schultz and son-in-law Dave Fulgham. Grandmother to Cordell (Heidi), Cara, Lisa (Todd), Krista (Alan), Leah (Darren), Alison (Todd), Chad,Berkeley, Graham (Tam), Jason, Luke (Kim) and great grandchildren Christopher, Jourdan, Amelie, Jackson, Connor, Hunter and John. Also survived by 4 sisters, Frieda Hoffman, Leotha Yanke, Mildred Slager and Lydia (Clarence) Knipple. Predeceased by her husband, Arthur (November 1998); daughter, JoAnne (March 1995); grandson, Denham "Denny" (August 2007) as well as her sisters, Minnie and Martha and brothers, Frank, Fred, Herman and Jake.

She was born in Balgonie, Saskatchewan on November 30, 1911. She married Art on September 26, 1936. Annie and Art lived on the farm in the Churchbridge area until 1973 when they moved to Abbotsford.

Annie was dearly loved by all her family. She was known for her caring, hospitality and good cooking. Her home was always immaculate. She loved to sew, knit and crochet. She spent the last 5 years of her life at Valhaven Nursing Home.

A service of remembrance will be held at 1:00 pm, Monday, March 16, 2009 at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 2310 Clearbrook Road, Abbotsford.
