Andriana Barbara Koel, our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away to be with the Lord on December 2, 2007, at Menno Home, with her children present.
She is survived by sons Neil (Jeanne), Peter (Pat); daughters Margaret (Paul), Rita (Peter); grandchildren Peter, Darren (Sheri), Monica (Steve), Carla (Jason), Curtis, Blair, Derek (Eva), Julie (Laurens), Jennifer, Vincent (Lori), Conrad (Kristen), and 22 great grandchildren.
Adriana was predeceased by her husband Pieter Koel in 1994.
Adriana Barbara Koel (nee Van Delft) was born in Amsterdam, Holland in 1910. She married in Aug. 1935 in Holland and the family immigrated to Canada Oct. 1951. After a short stay in Port Alberni, BC, moved to Victoria, BC in 1953, then to Abbotsford, BC in 1980.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, Dec. 7, 2007 at 2:30 pm, Trinity Christian Reformed Church at 3215 Trethewey Street, Abbotsford, BC with Pastor Sid Couperus officiating.
A private burial will take place at Musselwhite Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
