Allan Beckett
Allan Beckett passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at MSA Manor at the age of 97. Al was born and raised in Mission, BC, he graduated with honors and worked after school at the Mission Library. He then trained with and received his first aid certificate from WCB. He was employed at Weyer-hauser as a store manager and first aid attendant in Kamloops, BC. Al was one of the first to reside at Fircrest Estates in Abbotsford. He served as a council member for four years and received a standing ovation for his newsletters as well as being recognized for maintenance duties. Upon retiring he was kept busy in the work shop; fishing, golfing and canning. He also played many musical instruments. He will be greatly missed by his wife Eva, R.P.N.
At Al's request there will not be a formal gathering, his ashes will be laid to rest at the cemetery in Hatzic.
