Alice Elizabeth, born in Wawanesa, Manitoba on Sept. 6, 1912 passed away peacefully in Surrey, BC on March 1, 2006. She was predeceased by her husband Dunc (1980) and 4 brothers; Bill, Eddie, Harve and Morley Couling. She will be lovingly remembered by her sister Muriel, daughter Edith Baird, son Morley Morgan (Sharon); grandchildren Cameron Baird, Leanne Baird (Kirk Beck), Janelle Emery (Brad), Greg Morgan (Cassandra) and great-grandchildren Brooklyn Morgan and Carson Beck; 2 sisters-in-law Vera Munn and Mildren Cowling, and many very dear nieces and nephews. Alice was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, a true Christian soul. She had a wonderful life. We wish to give special thanks to the Âcaring staff and residents of Kinsmen Place Lodge, Surrey.
A service of thanksgiving will be held at Northwood United Church, 8855 156th Street, Surrey on Tuesday, March 7 at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
