Alice Aurore
(1931-2006)
On Friday, June 9, 2006 Alice passed away after a sudden and brief illness at St. Boniface Hospital, Winnipeg, Manitoba.
She is lovingly remembered by her son, daughter-in-law, and grandsons Roger, Penny, Craig, and Ryan Gosselin; sisters and brothers Rose McCarthy, Cecile Michaud (Tom), Irene Martin, Eva Fiola, Lucien (Antonia) Fiola, Ted (Laurie) Fiola, Roland (Georgette) Fiola, stepdaughters and stepson Loralee (Lyle) Faulks, Elaine (Lorne) Earle, Dianne (Al) Marks, and Richard Charles; and her many family and friends near and far.   Â
Alice grew up in a large spirited French family in Ste. Anne, MB. Her son, Roger, describes the family as fun loving and one that liked to keep everyone on their toes. That sounds just like Alice, no wonder she loved to spend time with them.
A few years ago Alice found her niche in Abbotsford where she bowled and danced at every opportunity. May you remember her gliding along the dance floor with a smile and twinkle in her eye.Â
There will be a celebration of Alice’s life at a later date in Abbotsford. In lieu of flowers a donation in Alice’s memory can be made to the Heart Foundation or a charity of your choice.
