BATES, Alfreda M. (nee Smith)
Freda was born in Saskatchewan in 1921. Passed away suddenly on October 3, 2009. she was predeceased by her husband Stan and 4 brothers. She is survived by son Glenn (Robin) Bates, daughter Maxine (Glen) Sasyniuk, grandson Ryan (Jeni) Bates, granddaughter Jennifer (Scott) Olmsted and great grandchildren Kirsten, Makenna and Jacob. Many thanks to the staff of Bevan Lodge, especially 2nd floor where she had resided for the past 9 years She was s special lady, much loved and will be sadly missed. Donations to the Arthritis Society in Alfreda's name would be greatly accepted.
What she suffered she told so few, She never deserved what she went through, She left us suddenly, her thoughts unknown, But left us with a memory we are proud to own Your painful days are over now, your restless nights have passed. With open arms He greeted you and whispered "Peace at last."
