Agathe died peacefully on November 9, 2007 in Chilliwack, BC. She is survived by her 3 brothers Henry (Germany), Jake (Abbotsford), and John (Delta). Agathe was born on April 27, 1921 in Neuendorf, Ukraine. She and her mother, along with two brothers, came to Canada in 1948. In 1968 they bought a house in Yarrow, BC where she lived until she entered a care home in Chilliwack 3 years ago.
A graveside service will be held at 12:00 noon on Thursday, November 15, 2007 at the Yarrow Mennonite Cemetery on Hare Road. A Memorial service will follow at 1:00 pm at the Yarrow United Mennonite Church 4336 Eckert Street.
