Abraham Peter Willms passed into the presence of his Lord on March 23, 2007 in the Vancouver General Hospital at the age of 86. The excellent care of the medical staff was very much appreciated. He will be lovingly remember by his wife Anne of 59 years; children: Shirley (Walter) Janzen, Elizabeth (Henry) Toews, Lori (Richard) Tompkins, and Edward (Laurel) Willms; seven granddaughters: Julie (Chris) Loeppky, Jody (Dale) Krahn, Jackie (Todd) Wickens, Jennifer (Anders) Paulsen, Leanne Tompkins, Lindsey (Dave) Groehmueller, and Bethany Willms; one grandson: Daryl Willms; and 10 great grandchildren.
Viewing will be held at Woodlawn Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 28, 2007 from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at the Bakerview MB Church on Thursday, March 29, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. In memory of his life, contributions may be made to Mennonite Brethren Missions and Services International.
