Beloved husband, brother, father, grandfather, uncle, teacher and friend to all who knew him. A.E. Mayson Abraham was lifted by angels to be with the Lord on February 5, 2004. A compassionate and generous man, he enjoyed a life that was rich with experience, adventure and the pursuit of knowledge. To this remarkable man of God, all persons were welcomed and embraced with warmth and gentleness. Among his greatest joys was the expression of faith through his musical gift, a resonant bass voice. As an educator he provided guidance and inspiration to generations of students in Ethiopia and Canada. Among his peers, he was an active contributor to many organizations, including the Order of Freemasons, the Order of the Eastern Star, the Saskatchewan Teachers' Federation and the United Church of Canada. As an historian he recorded and documented events of significance, from visits of national leaders, to the first lunar landing, to the birth of his latest grandchild. Among his family and friends, he cultivated cross-cultural understanding, and the sesire to learn, share and make a contribution to one's community.

A celebration of the life of A.E. Mayson Abraham will be held on Thursday, February 12. 2004, 2:00 p.m. at Trinity Memorial Church (33737 Hazel Street, Abbotsford, B.C.)

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Diabetic Association would be greatly appreciated.
