VIDEO: First responders salute fallen police officer as he’s transported to morgue

Abbotsford police, firefighters and RCMP members stood on Clearbrook Overpass

First responders saluted their fallen colleague, as he was transported out of Abbotsford Monday night.

Members of the Abbotsford Police Department, Abbotsford Fire Rescue Service and the RCMP stood on the Clearbrook Road overpass as the police officer who died earlier that day was driven to the morgue in a procession.

It was reportedly one of several overpasses where first responders stood with their vehicle lights flashing in a poignant send off.
