Two-car collision flips SUV in Abbotsford

The crash took place Tuesday afternoon at DeLair Road and Sumas Way.

Abbotsford Fire Rescue Service crews were on the scene of a two-car collision Tuesday afternoon at DeLair Road and Sumas Way.

Three people were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after a two-car collision in Abbotsford on Tuesday afternoon.

The crash took place just after 4 p.m. at the intersection of DeLair Road and Sumas Way.

Witnesses at the scene said the driver of a northbound Toyota Sequoia SUV was making a left turn off Sumas Way onto DeLair when the vehicle was struck by a Geo Storm travelling south on Sumas Way.

The collision flipped the SUV onto its driver's side, and the front end of the Storm was smashed.

Both drivers and a passenger in the SUV were taken to hospital.

Abbotsford Fire Rescue Service, Abbotsford Police and BC Amublance Service were all on the scene.
