“I think they should have designated smoking areas, including in parks. I am a non-smoker myself, but smoking is not illegal, so let’s just have areas where smokers can go outside.” – Cat Perry

“As a smoker I agree public places should have a section to have their smoke … I don’t mind the strict laws if it prevents one young person from ever lighting up that 1st cigarette.” –Barbara Ann Falcon

“Woo hoo! Now i wont have to explain to my kids that that person smoking is in fact NOT on fire! lol!” – Faith Schellenberg

“I don’t smoke but the Government has no right to tell a person what to do with their body whether on city property or in the privacy of your own home.” –Suzan Benz

“Well people smoking in parks and government properties are infringing my rights to not have to breath second hand smoke.”– Trevor Dubinsky

“I love this idea! However I don’t see it actually working as I doubt it will be enforced.” – Hailey Wall

“I think the smokers who have been squeezed by our greedy government in astronomical tobacco tax have more say than the people who have never smoked. At least smokers contribute financially to the country, all you non smokers here are just whining.”– Kevin Sawatzky

“I look forward to receiving my first bylaw infraction notice for vaping in a park. Fully committed to using my entire retirement savings if necessary to fight any bylaw that infringes on my rights without a shred of evidence based data to justify it.”– Ray Covenant

“As a non smoker with smoke allergies this would please me. Finding butts laying around is gross as well.” – Sue Lauder

“Hopefully the powers that be will pay particular attention to all the people smoking directly outside the main entrance to as well as the ER dept of ARHCC. It is after all a cancer agency along with numerous people actually trying to heal and get better.” – Lisa Kelly
