It’s not the kind of adrenalin rush that police would recommend.

The Abbotsford Police Department received a report just after midnight Tuesday that somebody appeared to be dangling from a construction crane in the Central Park Village complex at Gladwin Road and Garibaldi Drive.

Police arrived on scene and discovered that two people were climbing the crane.

The pair started to descend and were about halfway along when one climbed back up again and then came down.

Once they were on ground, police determined that the two were 16-year-old boys and one had returned to the top to retrieve his cellphone.

The pair were sent on their way with a warning.
