District crews worked to clean up flooding after a pipe burst at Ross Elementary on Saturday afternoon.

Pipes burst and flooded at least two buildings in Abbotsford Saturday afternoon.

An Abbotsford School District crew was cleaning up water at Ross Elementary around 3:30 p.m. Flooding appeared to only affect the hallway of the school and did not appear to be extensive.

It is not clear at this time if the incident will affect class on Monday.

District representatives could not be reached.

The Tabor Village care home, on Sunrise Crescent in west Abbotsford, also experienced flooding on Saturday, from what appeared to be a burst fourth-floor sprinkler system.

It is unknown at this time how residents have been affected by the flooding.

Tabor Village representatives could not be contacted immediately for comment.
