A 22-year-old female pedestrian was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after being struck by a car on Wednesday afternoon in Abbotsford.
The incident took place at about 4 p.m. in the area of Marshall Road and Ware Street.
Abbotsford Police Const. Paul Walker said the woman was walking in the marked crosswalk from the south side to the north side when she was struck by a vehicle making a left turn from Ware Street to go east on Marshall.
Walker said the driver, a 65-year-old woman, remained on scene and is co-operating with police.
He said charges under the Motor Vehicle Act are being considered.
