Oxy, crack cocaine and pot seized from Abbotsford home

Abbotsford Police executed a search warrant last Thursday at a home on Millar Crescent.

Abbotsford Police are recommending drug trafficking charges against two people after a bust Thursday night.

A search warrant was executed at about 7:30 p.m. at a home in the 34800 block of Millar Crescent by members of the Abbotsford Police Department's gang suppression unit, patrol division and drug unit, as well as the Municipal Integrated Emergency Response Team.

Const. Ian MacDonald said police seized 70 OxyContin pills, small amounts of crack cocaine and packaged marijuana, and about $2,400 cash.

Three men and three women – from the ages of 17 to 63 – were arrested and released. Two of them – a 19-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman — are now facing charges.
