MISSING: Mission RCMP seek public’s help in search for Daniel Halak

The Mission RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance in their search for Daniel Halak, who was last seen in Mission on Nov. 2.

Halak, 83, is described as 168 centimeters tall, weighing 86 kilograms, having grey hair and brown eyes and usually wearing glasses.

He is believed to be in his green 1998 Chevy Blazer with the B.C. licence plate JW213W, according to the RCMP.

His granddaughter, Tasha Paige, has posted to several Facebook pages in the Fraser Valley with more details on his possible whereabouts.

Halak lives in Deroche, but also regularly commutes to and from another house in Delta, according to Paige.

“His normal route [from Delta] would be Highway 1 to 160th, 56th to Ross Road, Harris road through Matsqui to the Abbotsford-Mission Highway to the Mission Bridge, then taking the turnoff for Harrison, Highway 7 to Deroche.”
