A section of Clayburn Road is closed this morning after heavy rains drenched the Fraser Valley last night and early this morning. Other areas of the city are also seeing localized flooding.

The City of Abbotsford closed the road between Bell Road and Wright Street due to high water levels. Around the city, crews are working to clear out catch basins to allow the water that fell to drain.

Police say the McKee Road area is also experiencing flooding.

If an area needs attention, residents are asked to call the city’s operations yard at 604-853-5485.
