It took Abbotsford firefighters at least 30 minutes to extricate a man from a mini van following a collision Friday morning.

The 2011 Toyota Sienna collided head-on with a 2000 GMC Yukon at the intersection of Peardonville Road and Clearbrook Road around 8:45 a.m, according to police.

The Sienna driver, a man in his 40s, was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening leg injuries and the Yukon driver, a woman in her 70s, was also taken to hospital, with non-life-threatening facial injuries.

Police have blocked northbound traffic on Clearbrook.
