Elizabeth May to speak in Abbotsford

The leader of the Green Party of Canada is coming to Abbotsford.

Elizabeth May will give a speech at the University of the Fraser Valley’s Evered Hall on Sept. 12 at 2 p.m. The free event is being hosted by the UFV Greens group.

She will address the “green economy and its relation to university education and jobs,” according to a press release. May represents the Saanich–Gulf Islands riding in parliament, is a respected environmentalist and author.
