Fire crews were on the scene of a fire at the homeless camp in Abbotsford on Friday night.


Fire broke out in the homeless camp on Gladys Avenue on Friday night.

Crews from Abbotsford Fire Rescue Service were called to the scene in downtown Abbotsford just before 7 p.m. When they arrived, a large tee pee structure and a willow tree were on fire.

The fire was quickly brought under control, and nobody was injured.
