A robbery occurred on Thursday at the Scotiabank at the corner of Old Yale and McMillan roads in Abbotsford.
At 3:40 p.m. a man walked into the bank and handed the teller a note demanding cash and implying he had a weapon.
The man is described as a white male in his mid to late 20s, with a thin build and pale complexion. He had facial scarring or acne. The robber was wearing dark clothing, a ball cap and carried a white plastic grocery bag.
Abbotsford recorded a rash of robberies last year, mainly in September and October, but there had been a lull since the last one. Among the robberies still unsolved are five at Subway restaurant locations.
