The Abbotsford Downtown Business Association have hired Jennifer McEwan as executive assistant and Reuben Mann as marketing co-ordinator.

The Abbotsford Downtown Business Association announced a pair of new hires Thursday.

Jennifer McEwan has been hired as the Abbotsford Business Improvement Area's non-profit's new executive assistant, while Reuben Mann will serve as marketing co-ordinator.

McEwan, a press release says, "has a wealth of experience accrued through a 14-year nursing career, developing her own business, and serving nine years as the chair of the Air Cadets Sponsoring Committee."

Mann, meanwhile, previously "led the social media marketing campaign for a testicular cancer awareness group which resulted in global news coverage and founded a digital marketing and brand consultancy to help local businesses transition into the mobile-first era of marketing."

The ADBA says the additions will help it develop integrated marketing campaigns, create a new online platform, and provide greater transparency.

The release concludes by thanking Tina Stewart for her work as executive director.

"Her dedication was greatly valued and appreciated by the Board of Directors," the release says.
