Abbotsford police searching for suspect after apparent robbery

Incident occurred on Sumas Mountain Road just before noon Wednesday

Abbotsford Police are scouring Sumas Mountain for a suspect in an apparent robbery that took place just before noon on Wednesday.

Police received a call from a person who said their keys and phone had been stolen on Sumas Mountain Road by a man who may have been carrying a gun or a replica gun.

Police have now set up quadrants in the area and a K-9 and air units are also participating in the search.
