Abbotsford Police investigate reports of group possibly carrying guns

Incidents reported at Kipling Street and King Road on Oct. 14 and 16

The Abbotsford Police Department (APD) is investigating reports of a small group of people who have been spotted walking outdoors while possibly carrying guns.

According to a news release, the group has been spotted in the area of Kipling Street and King Road, located west of McCallum Road.

They were first seen in the early morning of Thursday, Oct. 14 and then again for several hours on the morning of Saturday, Oct. 16.

The release states that the APD’s major crime unit is continuing to investigate. Anyone with information or CCTV or dashcam footage is asked to call the APD at 604-859-5225 or text 22973 (abbypd).
